What POA notarization involves
Florida requires a durable power of attorney to be signed by the principal in front of two subscribing witnesses and acknowledged before a notary (Fla. Stat. § 709.2105). The notary confirms the principal's identity and that they are signing willingly and with awareness.
Your attorney or the form provider prepares the document; we don't draft or choose POA forms and can't advise which powers to grant. What we bring is a calm, properly conducted signing — often for a parent or loved one who can't travel.

What to bring
- The complete, unsigned POA prepared by your attorney or provider
- Current government photo ID for the principal
- Two adult witnesses (ideally not the named agent) — ask us if you need help
- Witness IDs so their names can be recorded
A notary cannot complete a notarization if the signer appears confused, unable to communicate, or pressured. This protects the principal and the document.
